Senior CAD Technician in London

The company Contributing to a significant amount of the UK’s highways services, this company specialises in providing highways maintenance and management services to both public and private sector clients. In addition to highways maintenance, they cover network management, emergency response services, and traffic management. They have a strong focus on safety, sustainability and innovation, which enables them to deliver services and large-scale, complex projects in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Your new role As part of the design team, you'll be responsible for developing schemes drawings from inception to completion. You will be involved in feasibility studies, preliminary design and detailed design work together with the production of 3D design information as and when needed. In short you will * Be heavily involved in preliminary design and detailed design work * Produce CAD drawing using established company CAD standards * Manage SHEQ matters in areas that you are responsible for * Work collaboratively with other engineers within the team, the client, and various stakeholders About you You will be joining a hardworking team who are good at what they do. You will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively and be capable of allocating your time effectively. Ideally, you will be able to tick of most of the below: * Minimum 7 years highway design experience * An understanding of 3D CAD Civils * Experienced with using AutoCAD, Autotrack, Key signs, Key post and Key Lines effectively. * Good understanding of DMRB and SHW (essential) * Engineering Qualification or equivalent or relevant demonstrable equivalent experience
