Your new role
As a Schemes Supervisor, you will play a critical role in assisting the construction manager in overseeing the delivery of highway improvements.
You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highways engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project schedules and collaborate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily site records, including photos, equipment, and labour resources.
- Assist in resolving site and construction-related issues, communicating changes to Scheme Engineer, Designers, and Quantity Surveyors.
- Conduct daily inspections of Traffic Management layouts, addressing any identified issues promptly.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Schemes Supervisor to join this highways team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple engineering schemes, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will provide leadership and guidance to a team of engineers and ensure all aspects of the schemes, from planning to execution, are carried out safely and efficiently.
