Your new company is currently undergoing a phase of growth, working with a wide range of clients across the UK in both the public and private sectors, delivering civil and environmental projects with a heavy focus on sustainable development.
Your new role involves joining the Highways team as a CAD Technician, working on a number of London-based projects. You will be tasked with helping to develop and implement new ways to produce and present work using CAD and Civil 3D software.
The CAD Technician will also be required to:
- Work on the design and modelling of Highways, drainage and earthworks models
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Work alongside the water management team helping to develop mitigation ideas
- Research and introduce new delivery methods for design works
About you: We are seeking a professional that is experienced in Highways design as a CAD Technician, with the skillset to thrive in a small and dynamic team. You must:
- Have experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Ability to support the Highways Engineering Design team in preparation of plans and drawings from concept to detailed design phase
- Support the design of Highways, drainage and earthworks
- Knowledge of the relevant technical standards
- Develop new ways to optimise ways of working and presenting outputs
