Your new role involves supporting the maintenance and reliability of critical tunnel infrastructure and technology systems. You will play a key role in ensuring essential mechanical, electrical, and ITS assets operate safely and efficiently across the network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the maintenance and inspection of tunnel M&E and ITS systems, including lighting, communications, CCTV, and control systems.
- Assist in delivering planned and reactive maintenance to ensure tunnel assets remain safe and operational.
- Monitor system performance and identify faults, supporting timely repairs and improvements.
- Work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and asset performance.
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with relevant safety, quality, and operational standards.
About you:
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer with experience in M&E and technology systems within infrastructure environments. Some essentials include:
- Experience in M&E maintenance within highways, tunnels, or infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) or similar technology systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
