Your new role As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting our Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers in managing projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
The ideal candidate will * Collaborate with senior team members to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including comprehensive assessments of materials, labour, and overhead costs. * Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations, working closely with our procurement team to ensure cost-efficiency and quality. * Participate in reviewing and administering construction contracts, handling variations, claims, and maintaining contract documentation. * Monitor project expenditures and budgets, providing timely and accurate reports and forecasts to the project team. * Conduct on-site measurements and valuations to assess project progress and verify compliance with contractual terms. * Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently.
