Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift (full training provided)
- Receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and storing goods correctly
- Conducting continuous stock counts and monitoring inventory levels
- Managing goods dispatched to external customers and other locations
- Recording delivery notes and verifying invoices
- Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures
- Managing the stock control email inbox and responding to suppliers and customers
- Working closely with management and staff to ensure all departments are fully stocked
Requirements
- The role involves regular manual handling, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg, with appropriate equipment and support where required
- The role requires working in chilled and freezer environments for part of the day
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Working Hours
- 6:00am – 3:00pm (flexibility required depending on business needs)
- Primarily Monday to Friday (occasional changes may be required)
- Availability on the last day of each month is required, as this is when monthly stock take is conducted
