Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift (full training provided)
  • Receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and storing goods correctly
  • Conducting continuous stock counts and monitoring inventory levels
  • Managing goods dispatched to external customers and other locations
  • Recording delivery notes and verifying invoices
  • Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures
  • Managing the stock control email inbox and responding to suppliers and customers
  • Working closely with management and staff to ensure all departments are fully stocked

Requirements

  • The role involves regular manual handling, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg, with appropriate equipment and support where required
  • The role requires working in chilled and freezer environments for part of the day
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

Working Hours

  • 6:00am – 3:00pm (flexibility required depending on business needs)
  • Primarily Monday to Friday (occasional changes may be required)
  • Availability on the last day of each month is required, as this is when monthly stock take is conducted
