We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Photographer and Videographer to join our Digital team in Nottingham. This role is responsible for producing ecommerce product imagery in our studio space. You will shoot both static and moving product assets, which align with seasonal campaign aesthetics. Working to daily and weekly targets, you will ensure all images adhere to the guidelines developed across the team and you will use your technical knowledge to produce assets to a consistently high standard.
Please note, this role requires that you submit an online link to a portfolio or Design Project containing work examples, as part of your application. This should be available for 4 weeks after the advert closing date.
The Role- Prepare the photographic studio and any required equipment for the shooting of ecommerce imagery, including preparing and styling products according to brand guidelines.
- Photograph products in a timely manner, working to daily and weekly targets and deadlines, and keep records of studio output.
- Using Capture One, create styles for shoots and process images ready for retouch.
- Produce product and garment videos and/or gifs, adhering to an agreed set of objectives.
- Photograph sample collections ahead of the selling season.
- Document set-ups and techniques and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Liaise with the Post-Production department in relation to asset handover.
- Monitor the online product imagery to ensure it is of a high standard.
- Work to briefs outlined by internal teams and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with shoots at external locations, as and when required.
- Proven experience in product and model photography in a studio environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lenses and lighting.
- High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One Pro.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in and out of a studio setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, reliable, and able to work to set deadlines.
- A team player, who is also used to working independently and on own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Up to date knowledge of styles and trends within product photography and videography.
