As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs efficiently and effectively.

  • Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards.
  • Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet daily targets and customer expectations.
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy automotive workshop.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Health and safety awareness in the workshop environment.
