We are currently looking for passionate bakers or individuals interested in pursuing a career in baking to join our team on a permanent basis. We want our bakery to be the very best and you and your role will be an integral part of this journey. - Baker – 2 years experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in baking.
- Prepare breads from our various ranges and other baked products – this will include mixing, scaling, and shaping before baking.
- Ability to produce bread using manual and/or industrial processes.
- Knowledge of dough preparation times, procedures and various baking techniques.
- Ability to operate electric bread ovens.
- Manage high volumes and monitor production consistently and professionally.
- Ensure all products are made to set quality standards and in line with daily orders.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations for food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness of your work area including utensils and equipment.
- Oven Baker – 1 year of Oven Management experience
- Proven experience as a Baker with specific experience in operating and managing ovens (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Ability to understand and control oven temperatures and baking times for different types of products.
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients used in artisanal bread and pastry production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in product quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, managing high volumes while meeting deadlines.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills to coordinate with other bakers and production staff.
- A deep passion for baking and a desire to contribute to the success of the bakery.
- Junior Baker – No experience required
- No experience in baking is needed.
- A keen interest in learning and developing your skills in artisanal bread making.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for high‑quality baked goods.
Location: Paul Rhodes Bakery, SE10 9PJ (Greenwich, London). Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
