Founded by former Michelin‑starred chef Paul Rhodes in 2003, Paul Rhodes Bakery is a leading supplier of high‑quality handcrafted sourdoughs, cakes and pastries in London.

We are looking for a Pastry Assistant specialising in cakes and pastries for a Maternity Cover role with the possibility of a permanent contract at our Greenwich Bakery.

About the Role

The role requires passion, adaptability and a strong commitment to quality. You will work in a high‑volume bakery environment, learning a wide range of products and working to company recipes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to prepare pastry products that meet quality requirements and standards.
  • Learn to produce a wide range of products and follow company recipes.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, enthusiastic, people‑focused and adaptable personality.
  • Maintain a can‑do attitude and meet deadlines on a schedule/plan.
  • Show willingness to learn and a hunger to develop pastry skills.

Hours & Contract

1‑year fixed‑term contract with the possibility of permanent contract. 45 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends.
