We are looking for a Pastry Assistant specialising in cakes and pastries for a Maternity Cover role with the possibility of a permanent contract at our Greenwich Bakery.
The role requires passion, adaptability and a strong commitment to quality. You will work in a high‑volume bakery environment, learning a wide range of products and working to company recipes.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a team to prepare pastry products that meet quality requirements and standards.
- Learn to produce a wide range of products and follow company recipes.
- Demonstrate a proactive, enthusiastic, people‑focused and adaptable personality.
- Maintain a can‑do attitude and meet deadlines on a schedule/plan.
- Show willingness to learn and a hunger to develop pastry skills.

1‑year fixed‑term contract with the possibility of permanent contract. 45 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
LocationPaul Rhodes Bakery, SE10 9PJ (Greenwich, London). Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
