About the Role

This is an SME style business that punches way above its fighting weight in the FMCG food market. It operates as an autonomous division of a Food group and creates innovative solutions across chilled and frozen categories. The NPD Director is looking for a NPD process development technologist to join the innovation and development team, working across factory and commercial functions to deliver groundbreaking products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the concept‑to‑launch platform and manage the product development lifecycle from idea to production launch.
  • Implement and maintain process controls to ensure high‑quality standards and on‑time delivery into factory production planning.
  • Collaborate with factory and commercial teams to embed new processes that improve throughput from development to factory output.
  • Act as a hands‑on laboratory technologist while embedding factory activities to create inspiring products for consumers.

Qualifications

  • 3‑5 years of experience in NPD innovation or technical development within FMCG.
  • Strong aptitude for generating new ideas and leading concept development to launch.
  • Self‑organised, motivated, and able to deliver in a fast‑paced, uncompromising environment.
