Paul Kelly Psychology invites expressions of interest from aspiring Educational Psychologists who are interested in varied professional opportunities, predominantly across the North West of England. This role is available from April 2025, or September 2025, with the potential for full-time work. Would suit aspiring EP/pre-doctoral/current doctoral student with background of experience in education settings.

We are seeking highly professional, independently-motivated Associates for a part time, flexible, freelance, self-employed Associate opportunity for:

  • EP assessments
  • Consultations
  • Training for schools/colleges
  • Therapeutic work
  • Service Level Agreements with schools/colleges

Support and supervision is provided in this Associate role with opportunities for team-working. Please submit your CV and a personal statement (maximum 1000 words) clearly evidencing how you meet the essential minimum requirements:

  • Psychology graduate/Masters degree (BPS accredited) and British Psychological Society BPS Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) - additional, relevant qualifications are desirable
  • Your availability to work across the North West and your preferred radius, including whether you hold a current, valid driving license and have own transport
  • Your previous experience, particularly within education, skills and areas of interest
  • How you would approach an Associate role with high professional standards, independence, initiative and enthusiasm
  • Current Enhanced DBS certificate (within last 2 years)
  • Your preferred number of days’ work over an average week

The rates of pay are favourable and meet or exceed the daily rates of employed TEPs/AEPs in Local Authorities. All our policies and payment terms will be shared with successful expressions of interest.
