Paul Garvey Personal Training is a family‑run business based in Corby, Northamptonshire. We’re looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team.

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, shift starts at approximately 7 am.

Salary: £40,000-£44,000 per year (attributable to experience and qualifications). Overtime pays time & ½.

Key responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair high‑end HGV commercial vehicles.
  • Participate in relevant product training sessions.
  • Conduct occasional roadside repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace with assistance from site maintenance staff.

Essential requirements:

  • Can‑do attitude, team player, and good time‑keeping skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Ownership of own tools.
  • HGV Class C+E licence (required).

Desirable qualifications:

  • Experience in training apprentices.
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in HGV service, maintenance and repair.
  • Steady career history with references.
