Full time Chef De Partie, Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef
Join to apply for the Full time Chef De Partie, Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef role at Paul Garvey Personal Training and work within a stunning grade 2 listed hotel located in a woodland setting in Leicestershire. You will be part of a team of 9 chefs and 4 kitchen porters.
Role
Work as part of a brigade, responsible for a section and working in 4–5 services per day. The hotel offers banqueting, conferences, weddings, a‑la‑carte dining, afternoon teas and more. You will handle 75‑80% fresh produce and support large functions with up to 400–500 covers.
Rota
Shift pattern from 10:00 to 21:00–22:00, working 5 out of 7 days per week. Contracted to 40 hours per week, averaging 45‑hour weeks with an hour break per shift. Weekend off structure: 1 weekend day off + 1 weekday on alternative weekends.
Salary
Up to £40,000 per annum, based on experience.

- Qualified or time‑served Chef with experience in fresh produce and commercial kitchen environment.
- Good can‑do attitude, passion for great food, and team mentality.
- Professional, reliable, punctual and presentable.
- Driving licence and reliable vehicle.
- Clear career history with references and/or photographic evidence.
- Pastry experience desired but not required.
- Previous experience in fine dining, 5‑star hotels, Michelin or rosetted gastro pubs attractive.
- UK Right to Work.
- Own chef knives and safety shoes or chef crocs.
