Meet the Team Behind This Journey
You will join the Business Acceleration Track (BAT), the engine room of DeepL’s global growth. While our research teams build the models, BAT builds the Revenue Flywheel that enables 200,000+ enterprises—including Fortune 500 companies—to use and pay for our solutions at scale. We are moving up‑market, transitioning from a consumer‑focused app to a mission‑critical enterprise platform. You will architect the "Financial Nervous System" of DeepL, handling everything from Identity & Access Management (SSO, SCIM) to complex multi‑seat subscription architectures and fraud prevention. We hire missionaries who understand that a perfect AI model is useless if a global enterprise cannot provision it securely to 50,000 employees. You will own the full vertical—from the user‑facing admin console in React to the distributed billing logic in C#/.NET.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect Revenue‑Critical Flows: Design and ship complex, high‑stakes features like "Enterprise Licensing" or "Automated Seat Provisioning," ensuring instant, immutable billing ledger updates when customers upgrade.
• Own the "Enterprise Experience": Build tools that empower CIOs and IT directors to manage DeepL, translating backend constraints (RBAC, rate limits) into simple, elegant UI workflows.
• Bridge the Gap: Act as the bilingual link between engineering and business, translating annual recurring revenue goals into scalable technical architectures with Sales, Product, and Finance.
• Drive System Reliability: Build for idempotency and resilience, ensuring auditable, flawless financial data while maintaining a high‑velocity frontend experience.

Qualities We Look For

• Product‑First Mindset: Care deeply about the customer journey and ask, "How does this feature help us close the next enterprise deal?" before writing code.
• Full‑Stack Fluency: Comfortable traversing the stack from React admin dashboards in the morning to debugging distributed transactions in the afternoon.
• Enterprise Domain Curiosity: Interest in B2B SaaS identity (SAML/SSO), monetization, and compliance, understanding these as pillars of trust for enterprise clients.
