About Us

My Gym Children's Fitness Centers offer a unique work experience for applicants with backgrounds in daycares, preschools, camps, or as nannies. We differentiate ourselves by:

  • Providing more scheduling flexibility and shorter shifts, allowing you to attend school or hold a second job.
  • Allowing you to work with different co-teachers each day.
  • Offering variety in your workday, including responsibilities outside of teaching such as marketing, administration, inventory, and planning.
  • Teaching 50-minute active early learning classes with children aged 3 months to 7 years, providing diverse experiences each shift.
  • No lesson planning required, as our curriculum is provided by the corporate office.
  • Focusing on learning through active play, making My Gym a highlight of children's day.

Position Details

We are seeking part-time (20+ hours) or full-time (30+ hours) candidates with:

  • Experience working with and teaching young children (infants to 8 years).
  • An athletic background and physical fitness, as classes are active.
  • An outgoing and social personality.
  • An interest in career growth, with potential advancement to Assistant Manager or Manager roles.

Requirements

  • Availability on Friday afternoons (12-5pm) for weekly curriculum meetings.
  • Availability to work one weekend shift, approximately 6 hours.
  • Ability to work 4 or 5 shifts per week.

Additional Information

Our classes include activities such as circle time, gymnastic stations, relays, songs & dances, group games, puppet shows, obstacle courses, yoga, conditioning, and more. We are an international franchise recognized for providing fun, physical early learning programs for children aged 3 months to 7 years. Our owner, Dave Ames, operates locations in Norwell, MA, and Braintree, MA, with the Norwell location open since 2008 and Braintree since June 2024.
