Role Description

The All Round Operative role is a full-time, on-site position located all over supporting a variety of building and plastering activities.

Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with general construction work, preparing and cleaning work areas, loading and unloading materials, mixing and applying plaster under supervision, and carrying out basic carpentry or repairs as required.

Also plenty of decorating work The role involves using hand and power tools safely, supporting more specialized trades, and helping ensure that work meets quality and safety standards.

The operative will be expected to follow instructions from supervisors, work effectively as part of a small team, and maintain professional conduct when interacting with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Practical construction skills, including basic building, plastering assistance, and general laboring tasks.
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools and follow site health and safety procedures.
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn different aspects of building and plastering.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Full, valid driver’s license as the position comes with a van suppied fir the right candidate
  • Decorating is a large part of what we do so will be required to work with the team
  • Previous experience in construction, plastering, or related trades is beneficial but not always essential.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom and readiness to work full time in an on-site environment, sometimes in varied weather conditions.
