Ready to step into a Finance Manager role where you own the full finance process? Join a business that's seen huge growth over the last five years and it is not stopping. You'll take full ownership of month-end and management reporting, support both the Head of Finance and the Finance Director, and play a key part in improving processes as the finance function continues to scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the month-end process and producing monthly management information (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, including consolidation for group reporting).
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Managing day-to-day requirements during the year-end audit and liaising with auditors.
- Preparing the annual budget and supporting monthly re-forecasting.
- Supporting weekly cashflow reporting and cashflow management.
- Improving finance processes, policies, procedures and controls as the business grows.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function, including training, mentoring and supporting accounts and administrative assistants.
- Completing monthly payroll postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing statistical and finance data for weekly, monthly, annual and group reporting.
- Providing ad hoc analysis and supporting project-based work, including monthly updates to the strategic five year business plan.
What you’ll need:
- CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role with confidence owning month end end-to-end.
- Strong Excel and good IT skills (Business Central desirable, not essential).
- High attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
