We're recruiting a Temporary Credit Controller to support a growing business in the run-up to year-end. Following a number of acquisitions, there's some historic debt that needs attention. Rather than simply sending standard reminders, you'll have the opportunity to get under the skin of the aged debtor report, understand what's holding up payment and improve the overall debtor position. You'll be: * Investigating aged and historic debt * Chasing overdue balances and improving cash collection * Getting to the bottom of disputed invoices and outstanding queries * Reconciling accounts and resolving more complicated balances * Helping get the debtor ledger into better shape for year-end If you're between roles, or simply looking for something temporary to take you through until Christmas, this could be an ideal opportunity to put your Credit Control experience to good use. You'll need previous credit control experience and the confidence to pick up an aged ledger, understand what's sitting behind the numbers and start making progress without lots of hand-holding.
