We are looking for a fully qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to join a fast-growing business and support the Finance Director in delivering accurate and timely management accounts. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys core management accounting but is also looking to develop as the finance function and business continue to expand.

You will take ownership of day-to-day management accounting activities while benefiting from clear opportunities for growth and progression as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Own the month-end close process and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting through accurate data preparation and analysis.
  • Prepare management reports and variance analysis for review by the Finance Director.
  • Support cash flow reporting and short-term forecasting.
  • Assist with year-end processes, including statutory accounts and audit support.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting as the business grows.
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Fully qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong technical understanding of management accounting and month-end processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confident Excel skills and experience with finance systems.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take on increased responsibility over time.
