We are looking for a fully qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to join a fast-growing business and support the Finance Director in delivering accurate and timely management accounts. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys core management accounting but is also looking to develop as the finance function and business continue to expand. You will take ownership of day-to-day management accounting activities while benefiting from clear opportunities for growth and progression as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Own the month-end close process and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Support budgeting and forecasting through accurate data preparation and analysis.
- Prepare management reports and variance analysis for review by the Finance Director.
- Support cash flow reporting and short-term forecasting.
- Assist with year-end processes, including statutory accounts and audit support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting as the business grows.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Fully qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Strong technical understanding of management accounting and month-end processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident Excel skills and experience with finance systems.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take on increased responsibility over time.
