What will I be doing?
In this new role, as a key part of the finance team, supporting the Finance Manager, you’ll focus on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while driving process improvements. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing credit control for a ledger of more than 400 customers, with a key focus on minimising aged debt.
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Preparing and posting journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Helping to enhance financial reporting and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborating across finance and operational teams to boost efficiency and align with business goals.
- Implementing process improvements.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in credit control and managing complex ledgers, with a proactive and organised approach to working in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are studying towards your AAT qualification, which will be fully supported here, or consider yourself qualified by experience, we welcome both.
