An established and growing group is looking for a high-calibre FP&A Manager to join its finance team and play a key role in supporting continued growth. This is a hands-on FP&A role for someone who wants to get close to the numbers, build robust financial models and provide meaningful commercial insight to senior management. It is not simply a reporting role.
The role involves taking ownership of core FP&A activity across the group, with particular emphasis on:
- P&L analysis – understanding performance, trends, variances and profitability
- Balance sheet – analysing financial position, working capital and key balance sheet drivers
- Budgets & forecasting – leading the budgeting process and developing rolling forecasts
- Cashflow – producing detailed cashflow forecasts and supporting effective cash management
- Financial modelling – building sophisticated models to support growth, investment and strategic decision-making
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Management reporting and performance analysis
- Identifying financial and commercial opportunities
- Providing clear, insightful analysis to senior management
About you:
- A technically strong accountant with excellent understanding of the P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Highly capable in Excel and financial modelling
- Commercially minded and confident challenging assumptions
- Analytical, curious and exceptionally comfortable working with data
- Hands-on and detail-oriented – someone who builds and interrogates the numbers rather than simply reviewing reports
- Comfortable working in a growing and evolving organisation
- Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to operational and senior management
Salary: up to £80,000 + benefits. If you are an ACA-qualified accountant with strong FP&A, modelling and commercial finance experience and want a role where you can genuinely make an impact, we'd like to hear from you.
