Overview: Working closely with the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial management & direction of the business, overseeing all financial, IT, and administration operations, and driving business growth. They will ensure the company delivers high-quality consultancy services, manages client relationships effectively, and achieves financial objectives. This senior leadership role requires strong decision-making, operational expertise, and a proven ability to inspire and lead teams.
Job specification:
- Develop and implement the company’s financial objectives, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Assist the MD in formulating a Value Creation Plan that identifies new business opportunities and sets long-term growth goals.
- Continuous appraisal of debt structure with a view to early repayment of loans as soon as possible.
- Selection & liaison with 3rd party accountants, lawyers & auditors.
- Responsibility for complying with all financial, tax, and legal obligations required of the company.
Operational Management:
- Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the company & develop and monitor key performance metrics to achieve Company goals.
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to ensure quality service delivery.
IT & Administration:
- To manage all IT services which is a key component of the business requiring robust management of software and associated licences, hardware, and internal & external servers.
- Selection and management of 3rd party IT support to ensure 100% uptime and market-leading back-up services.
- Development & introduction of single-entry data system managing the business process from quotation of fees to invoicing and cash collection.
Candidate profile:
- Relevant professional accounting qualification & degree in business, management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years experience in a senior managerial role within a growing business.
