We are seeking an exceptional Quality professional to join us as a Manufacturing Quality Lead at our site in Derby.
Responsibilities
- Build effective working relationships with suppliers and act as a point of contact for detailed technical support on engineering and quality matters.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving investigations to resolve quality complaints in line with Incora processes and industry standards.
- Work with suppliers using zero‑defects principles to deliver proactive performance improvement that meets customer and Incora expectations, applying a range of quality tools.
- Manage containment actions and the Materials Review Board, and maintain accurate company data in the ERP system.
- Ensure supplier submissions of FAIRs, Source Changes and deviations are accurate and comply with industry specifications.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and knowledge of zero‑defects principles and AS13100 standards.
- Strong knowledge of proactive quality tools such as 8D and experience with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001).
- Experience leading problem resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Manufacturing quality background, preferably within aerospace or an adjacent sector, with substantial experience working with suppliers to resolve queries and influence decision‑making.
- Good knowledge of the full MS Office package; experience conducting supplier or internal audits is desirable but not essential.
