We are looking for a confident communicator for a 12‑month fixed term contract as a Commodity Buyer (Spondon/Hybrid). You will manage and deliver projects across multiple commodity categories, oversee supplier quotations, lead pricing negotiations, benchmark costs, and support the delivery of commercial improvements across the supply base.

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least two years’ experience in purchasing.
  • Preferred experience in aerospace, automotive or medical industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data in Excel.
  • Good knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience conducting supplier or internal audits is desirable.
  • Proactive self‑starter with strong communication skills.
