We are looking for an organized and process‑driven individual to support the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash management and external reporting for the UK and German entities. This role will also provide support to our Shared Service Centre teams in Poland to resolve complex queries, alongside delivering finance admin support in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Accountant with month‑end close tasks and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Support cash management activities and maintain oversight of cash positions.
  • Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Handle inter‑company recharges and ensure inter‑company entities remain in balance.
  • Support external reporting requirements for the UK and German entities.
  • Collaborate with Shared Service Centre teams in Poland to resolve complex finance queries.
  • Provide general finance administration support in the UK.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator, or Accounts Clerk.
  • Currently studying towards or holding a recognised finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA).
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, organised, and process‑driven working style.
