A prestigious, Legal 500 and Chambers-listed law firm with an outstanding global reputation is seeking a US Immigration Attorney to join its highly regarded Immigration Department in London. This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s US immigration practice.
You will work with an impressive client portfolio, advising dynamic owned and managed businesses, multinational corporations, individual talent and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of US immigration matters. The team is known for its collaborative approach, high standards, and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and assistance on the following but not limited to non-immigrant (NIV) and immigrant (IV) visa processes, E-visas, O visas, L visas, Green Cards and services for US citizens.
- Serve as point of contact for clients on US immigration matters.
- Collaborate with other departments across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Advise on complex consular issues and case strategies.
- Prepare and draft high-quality petitions/applications and related documentation.
- Liaise with US Embassies and Consulates globally.
- Work closely with the immigration partner to shape and implement the firm’s US immigration strategy.
- Qualified US Attorney, ideally newly qualified to 2 years' PQE, with demonstrable experience in US immigration law.
- Strong team ethic and ability to thrive in a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
- Commercially minded with a client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Additional language skills and a strong academic background would be highly advantageous.
