Senior Global Immigration Consultant

A globally renowned firm has a brand-new requirement for an experienced Senior Global Immigration Consultant to manage a portfolio of complex immigration and consular cases, providing a high-quality and responsive service to clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage immigration and consular cases from initial assessment through to completion, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met.
• Assess individual circumstances and identify potential risks, complexities or issues at an early stage.
• Provide clear, accurate advice and explain complex immigration and consular requirements in an easy-to-understand way.
• Research immigration, visa and consular requirements using reliable, official sources and liaise with relevant authorities and external providers.
• Proactively manage documentation, appointments and case milestones, including consular appointments where required.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a smooth and consistent client experience.
• Identify and elevate issues appropriately, taking action to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide regular progress updates to clients.
• Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues and support the wider team when required.

About You

You will have:

• Previous experience in global immigration, visa services or consular services with a focus on managing high-volume caseloads.
• Strong case management, organisational and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The confidence to challenge information and seek clarification where required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Previous experience of advising on immigration cases across the DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) would be advantageous.
• A proactive, client-focused approach with good judgement when handling complex or sensitive cases.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
