Multi-service practice with a fantastic reputation for client service has a brand new requirement for a Partner to develop an Immigration Department as part of their wider firm offering. You will provide main point of contact service for UK immigration queries, particularly focused within the corporate & HNW private immigration space.
This award-winning firm has gone from strength to strength and is looking to hire a senior operator to drive the development of their immigration service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the immigration function within a globally recognised multi-service practice.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as main point of contact for a range of clients regarding UK immigration legislation, including but not limited to M&A, corporate structure, secondments, recruitment, contracts of employment, TUPE etc.
- Provide advice for a range of HNW Private Clients regarding their immigration queries.
- Work with other departments to cross-sell firm services and offer a multi-faceted approach.
- Provide advice to corporations on the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker visa category and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
- Visit client sites to provide training and undertake audits on immigration compliance.
- Take an active lead in business development, driving new firm initiatives.
You will be:
- A Senior Solicitor/Partner with strong experience in UK immigration law, ideally from a city/global law firm environment.
- A proven track record in developing commercial solutions for clients.
- Ability to build strong client relationships is also key as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile clients.
- Proven business development skills, able to demonstrate cross-selling across wider firm services, along with a track record of generating consistent revenues with potential for growth.
- Strong pedigree in advising on both corporate and HNW private client immigration.
