A globally renowned law firm, recognised for its market-leading work with high-net-worth (HNW) private clients and corporations, is seeking an Immigration Associate (NQ–3 years’ PQE) to join its highly regarded Immigration Department in London. This position forms part of the ongoing expansion of the firm’s prestigious Immigration Practice and offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile immigration matters.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with leading Partners, advising elite private clients and corporations on complex UK immigration matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise and act for HNW individuals and families on a wide range of UK immigration matters.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored, strategic immigration solutions with discretion and precision.
- Provide advice to corporations on the Skilled Worker/Global Mobility visa category and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
- Visit client sites to provide training and undertake audits on immigration compliance and employment law implications.
- Manage your own caseload while contributing to larger, high-value client projects.
- Support the Partner and senior team in developing and implementing departmental strategy.
- Supervise junior team members, maintaining quality of service.
- Contribute to business development, including client relationship management, networking, and participation in firm-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with other practice areas (private client, tax, corporate) to provide a holistic service to international clients.
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ–3 years’ PQE in UK immigration law.
- Strong experience advising HNW private clients on UK immigration and nationality matters.
- Experience on advising on corporate immigration matters, particularly Skilled Worker/Sponsor Licence/Global Mobility visa categories.
- Prior experience gained in a City law firm, leading boutique immigration practice or global law firm.
- Excellent client care skills and the ability to build strong, long-term relationships.
- Confident communicator with strong drafting and analytical abilities.
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
