A renowned multi-service practice with a fantastic reputation for entrepreneurial flair has a brand new requirement for an Immigration Solicitor. The position will sit as part of their highly regarded Employment Department, focused on providing immigration advice to both corporate organisations and HNW private individuals. This is a rare opportunity for someone keen to develop an immigration practice within a highly regarded multi-service practice.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Act as main point of contact for a range of clients regarding immigration queries
  • Provide advice to corporations on the Skilled Worker/Global Mobility visa category and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System
  • Visit client sites to provide training and undertake audits on immigration compliance and employment law implications
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the wider firm on all immigration topics
  • Advise HNW private clients regarding current immigration legislation
  • Coordinate with wider firm practice areas to offer a multi-faceted approach
  • Actively participate in business development, driving new firm initiatives
  • Support Immigration Partner in promoting the department and service line

You will be a qualified Solicitor, ideally 3-6 Year PQE with strong experience in UK corporate immigration law. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify potential commercial opportunities and cross-sell firm services. The ability to build strong client relationships is also key as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile clients. You should be a subject matter expert for all immigration queries with a proven track record within business development; with the ability to demonstrate generating revenues on a consistent basis.
