A highly regarded firm has a brand new requirement for an Immigration Solicitor. They have a fantastic reputation, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of global entities, providing essential services relating to the new UK immigration system.
As an Immigration Solicitor, you will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for clients regarding UK immigration legislation. Your expertise will be crucial in providing advice to organisations on the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker visa category, and you will serve as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, offering expert advice on UK immigration legislation.
- Collaborate with international offices to manage global immigration matters efficiently.
- Provide guidance to organisations on the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker visa category and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
- Provide advice to private clients regarding immigration queries, on visa queries including but not limited to: Appendix FM, Entry Clearance, Naturalisation, Citizenship, Global Talent, Tier 1 Extensions, etc.
- Conduct client site visits to deliver training and foster strong client relationships.
You will have:
- Extensive experience in UK immigration legislation as qualified Solicitor, ideally at the 2-4 Year PQE level
- Prior experience working in a corporate law firm or Big 4 environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of recent changes in the UK immigration system.
- Proven track record in providing advice on the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker/Student visa categories and utilising the Sponsor Management System effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, as you will be the main point of contact for high-profile global clients.
- Candidates who are not qualified but can demonstrate extensive corporate immigration experience may also be considered
