The UK Warehouse Manager at Pattern is responsible for the full management of warehouse operations at our UK Warehouse, ensuring the seamless receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role requires an experienced leader who can drive operational excellence, build and manage a dynamic team, and support commercial objectives aligned with Pattern’s growth and customer service goals.

What is the day in the life of a Warehouse Manager?

  • Full site management.
  • Scheduling of goods receipts, volumes to be processed.
  • Financially skilled in Budgetary & P&L responsibility for the site.
  • Building a strong, efficient and experienced FTE team.
  • Working with key resource suppliers to dynamically flex the team in line with the demands of the business and the seasonal volumes.
  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvements to support the evolving business.
  • Sourcing and managing consumable providers, continuous negotiation on costs.
  • Setting SLA’s and tracking KPIs.
  • Working with the Merchandise Planning team on forecasted volumes and shipping priorities.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management, including full site P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics software, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of and background in Lean Six Sigma methods.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English.
