Pattern is expanding, and we are looking for a Senior Digital Advertising Strategist to help transform our digital advertising team into a data-driven performance machine. What is the day in the life of a Senior Advertising Strategist?

  • Lead the hands-on execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across Amazon Ads, Amazon DSP, EU Marketplaces such as TikTok Shop, Ebay, Zalando & Allegro and other retail media channels.
  • Test, scale, and optimise campaign elements including keywords, bids, audiences, placements, and creative to drive revenue and efficiency.
  • Analyse campaign performance and identify strategic opportunities — from keyword research and competitive analysis to new campaign launches and budget shifts.
  • Own budget pacing and performance monitoring across multiple accounts to ensure monthly and annual revenue goals are met.
  • Nurture brand partner relationships via calls, emails, and meetings — providing clear insights, strategic recommendations, and campaign updates.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, telling performance stories that inform future strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Management, Analytics and Creative teams to align advertising with broader growth objectives.
  • Provide retail media and SEM expertise internally and contribute to strategic consulting projects where needed.

What will I need to thrive in this role:

  • 2:1/1st degree or above
  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in Search or Performance Marketing, ideally within an agency or ecommerce environment.
  • Proven track record executing campaigns across Amazon Ads, Google Ads or programmatic (experience with Meta, TikTok and EU marketplaces are a plus).
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn performance data into clear insights and actions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Data Visualisation, Google Analytics, and other tools used to analyse and interpret campaign performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to simplify complex topics for clients and internal teams.
  • Naturally curious with strong critical thinking skills — you question assumptions, spot patterns, and solve problems proactively.
  • Experience working with retail or ecommerce brands is highly desirable.
