Pattern Assembly is seeking a highly skilled Junior Print Designer to join our creative team in a flexible, part-time role (3-4 days/week). If you have 3+ years' commercial experience and are looking for a hybrid position where you can deliver highly commercial printed textile designs for fashion and home brands, we want to hear from you.
The Role & Your Impact
We are an experienced textile design studio serving top fashion and interior clients. You will be a key, accountable member of our team, driving commercial results through beautiful brand driven print design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating original, trend-driven and brand-led prints using creative and beautiful hand-drawing and CAD skills.
- Bringing a strong feminine, commercial aesthetic (with a focus on florals) to all client briefs.
- Proactively conducting and leveraging trend research to inform commercial designs.
- Mastering file preparation, artworking, and creating detailed specification documents for print production.
- Independent management of design administration and contributing to the studio's social media presence.
What We Need You to Bring
Experience: 3+ years of professional print design experience is essential. Experience in Ladies Nightwear is a bonus.
Skills: Advanced proficiency across the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Colour: A great eye for commercial colour in fashion and interior.
Mindset: Highly proactive, efficient, and accountable. Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and tight deadlines independently.
Education: Relevant Degree-level qualification in Fashion/Textiles is preferred.
