We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Representative to join Patsnap and play a key role in driving our new business growth. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, introducing them to Patsnap's innovation intelligence platform and how it transforms the way organisations approach R&D and IP strategy.

This is a high-impact, front-line commercial role where you will identify, engage, and qualify prospects, building meaningful early-stage relationships that convert into long-term customers. You will work closely with Account Executives, marketing, and sales leadership to generate pipeline, book high-quality meetings, and create momentum across the sales funnel.

You’ll develop deep product knowledge, strong commercial skills, and a clear understanding of enterprise sales motions — making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in SaaS sales within a high-growth, innovation-led business. This is a hybrid position based in our London office, with the option to work hybrid throughout the week (Mon, Tues, Thurs) or fully in-office.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Using your incredible communication skills to build brand new relationships between Patsnap and potential clients
  • Working closely with an Account Executive, who will mentor and help to develop your sales skills, while you support their activity by creating sales leads and booking their product demonstrations
  • Owning your territory and choosing which companies to call and will have the autonomy to be creative with how you introduce Patsnap to prospects
  • Learning the necessary tools to be able to succeed in the role; what we ask of you is a can-do attitude and an open mind to learning
  • Researching using varied and creative techniques to identify business opportunities (sales leads)

About You:

  • B2B sales or lead generation experience, ideally within the software industry (desirable)
  • You are super organised, and love being in charge of your own time
  • You are money motivated - uncapped commissions means your salary can be what you make it
  • An interest in technology, and how it is used to drive business forward
  • You love talking to new people, and are a confident communicator
  • You thrive working to (and exceeding) targets
  • You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges
