The Role
We are looking for an Installation and Service Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a varied role with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems.
- Install, service and maintain CCTV systems.
- Install, service and maintain access control systems.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnose technical issues.
- Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Complete service call-outs as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service and installation records.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Identify and report any additional works or issues where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant technical knowledge and practical engineering experience.
- Experience working with security systems, ideally intruder alarms, CCTV and/or access control.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and reliable approach.
- A full UK driving licence, where required for the role.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo security screening, including a DBS check and global watchlist check.
