Manager Major Projects
Join Patriot Home Funding, Inc. for the position of Manager Major Projects to oversee customer request management across our portfolio of services including WLR/WLCA, Porting, Mobile, CPS, ICT, Wireless, WAN & LAN services, IAAS, VOIP.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer satisfaction: deliver projects on‑time and on‑budget to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Initiate & plan: agree and document project scope, produce the project plan and identify the available budget; ensure the sales team provides sufficient information to complete the Statement of Work.
- Resource: secure and assign the right resources; ensure colleagues and key stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities and keep all tools updated.
- Delivery & escalation: ensure project resources meet deliverables on time and manage escalations, maintaining full ownership until resolution.
- Communication & reporting: provide accurate written project updates, highlight reports covering progress, budget, risks and actions; forecast future project requirements and maintain the project tracker.
- Wellbeing: risk assess workload, support colleagues in times of need and intervene in a timely manner to sustain health and wellbeing.
- Personal development & innovation: identify opportunities for business improvement, propose solutions and pursue personal training to drive innovation.
Person Specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Customer‑focused, professional, positive, confident and friendly.
- Highly self‑motivated and able to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Committed to delivering high quality work with strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Office 365, including Planner.
- Data entry and management experience; Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 3 years Project Management experience, ideally in a managed service organisation.
- Experience managing customer relationships and issues.
- Delivery of VOIP, IAAS, Cloud‑based Services, Wi‑Fi, MPLS WAN, LAN or combinations of all services.
- Track record of delivering contracts in excess of TCV ÂŁ1M.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience of working within a managed service organisation.
- Demonstrated structured project approach.
- Knowledge of agile and hybrid project methods.
- Detailed infrastructure migration knowledge.
Hours of Work
The company’s standard hours of work are 9:00‑17:30 Monday to Thursday, with a one‑hour lunch break, and 15:30 on a Friday. Flexibility may be required due to the nature of the role.
