The Opportunity
As the Senior Motor Trade Executive, you will be the driving force behind growth across our Motor Trade Combined and Road Risk portfolios. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will operate as a player–manager: leading by example with your own income targets while coaching, developing, and inspiring a team of Sales Executives. This role is perfect for a self‑motivated, commercially astute insurance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at building relationships, and understands the nuances of the motor trade sector. Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development — Secure new Motor Trade accounts across both combined and road risk sectors, delivering accurate quotations via phone or face‑to‑face visits.
- Client Relationship Management — Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers and insurers, ensuring exceptional renewal retention.
- Leadership & Team Management — Lead the Motor Trade Sales team, driving performance, coaching individuals, and refining processes to maximise results.
- Complex Risk Handling — Take ownership of larger or more technical risks, using your expertise to guide underwriting discussions.
- Operational Support — Assist with MTAs, administrative tasks, and customer service when required to ensure seamless service delivery.
