Patina is building the infrastructure layer for post-purchase commerce, turning every product into a connected, revenue-generating system. Digital Product Passports are becoming mandatory for brands selling into the EU. Compliance is coming; most of the market is treating this as compliance. Patina sits above it, as the layer that turns that infrastructure into revenue, engagement, and long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
You will lead how Patina shows up across its growing social ecosystem, translating a complex, emerging category into something people can see, understand, and engage with in real time. Working directly with the founders and core team, you'll operate at the intersection of fashion, technology, product, and cultural narrative. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to translate wider company narrative, campaigns, and strategic positioning into culturally relevant content output, and help shape how Patina's founders and leadership are seen publicly. Your role is to take what is already happening inside Patina, live deployments, brand partnerships, fashion week activations, category thinking, product build, and turn it into content that travels.
- Building a recognisable cultural presence: Own and develop Patina's social platforms as a consistent, high-quality output. Establish a clear visual and editorial direction, ensuring every post contributes to a cohesive identity.
- Founder & Thought Leadership Content: Capture and translate founder thinking, live conversations, speaking moments, and industry insights into consistent social-first content. Help establish Patina and its founders as visible category leaders across fashion, technology, and post-purchase commerce.
- Translating category thinking into short-form content: Turn complex ideas (DPP, post-purchase, resale, product identity) into short-form video, carousels, and visual concepts.
- Owning the cultural pillar of content: Track and respond to what's happening across fashion, product design, technology, regulation, and consumer behaviour. Develop content formats that can run weekly, building consistency without losing originality.
- Live Cultural Capture & Paid Social: Capture live industry moments, events, founder conversations, and deployments in real time. Own and optimise paid social (primarily Instagram/Meta), using it to test, learn, and amplify high-performing content. Confidently appear on camera to communicate Patina's perspective through clear, educational, and culturally relevant content.
- Building content-led growth mechanisms: Implement content systems that support inbound interest, lead magnets, clear CTAs, and conversion pathways that connect content to action. Work with tools such as ManyChat and AI-based platforms to support engagement, distribution, and lightweight automation.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in content creation and/or social media.
- Experience within fashion brand, creative agency, editorial/media platform, or culture-led startup.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ManyChat).
- Comfortable across creative tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, native platform tools).
- Clear examples of work that has built attention, not just supported it.
- Strong visual and cultural judgement; can simplify complex ideas without losing meaning.
- Speed and execution: shoot and edit independently, deliver consistently.
- Awareness of how content connects into a wider system.
