Role: Member of the Patient Participation Group [PPG] at Cromer Group Practice – volunteers must be registered patients of Cromer Group Practice. As a patient at the Practice, you will have experienced first-hand the medical service delivered. Your experience matters and you can bring different ideas to the Practice to help them treat us, their patients better or to improve what they do in some way.

The PPG is looking for members who want to be actively involved in projects or other issues – for example, one project was about the introduction of AI technology as part of clinical consultation. By being actively involved, you will gain a better understanding of the workings of the NHS and its impact on you and your family’s health needs, as well as giving the Practice vital feedback.

Time commitment: Formal meetings are held every 2 months and last 1 – 1/2 hours, and are usually held in the middle of the day. Members of the PPG can attend by video as well as in person. Members will also spend time on various healthcare projects in which the PPG will take an interest.

About the organisation: We are a group of patients of the Cromer Group Practice of different backgrounds all hoping to make a contribution to one of the most important public services.
