We’re looking for a talented and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing grounded in purpose and understands how creative, effective campaigns can communicate both commercial value and meaningful social impact.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll take campaigns from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across digital and traditional marketing platforms, creating campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences. You’ll adapt your messaging and approach for a wide range of audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, NHS partners, customers and other stakeholders. You’ll also help us measure and communicate the wider difference Patient Choice makes to people, communities and the NHS.

What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering creative, insight-led marketing campaigns from brief through to completion
- Developing campaigns across digital, email, websites, social media, ecommerce and traditional marketing channels
- Creating tailored content for B2B and B2C audiences
- Adapting tone, messaging and campaign activity for different audiences and platforms
- Writing clear and engaging copy for websites, emails, landing pages, social media and campaign materials
- Managing campaign plans, content schedules, budgets and delivery deadlines
- Supporting website and ecommerce activity across Odoo, WordPress and other platforms
- Planning email communications, paid advertising, Google Ads and social media campaigns
- Supporting with comms on bespoke and integrated CRM systems
- Using data, research, feedback and performance insights to improve future activity
- Measuring and communicating Patient Choice’s social impact
- Coordinating external agencies, suppliers and freelancers where required
- Providing day-to-day guidance and support to colleagues as the marketing team grows
About you, you’ll bring:
- Relevant mid-level marketing experience
- A genuine passion for purposeful, insight-led marketing
- Experience in paid advertising, Google Ads, social media
- Proven experience with email marketing and WordPress
- Experience planning and delivering campaigns from brief through to evaluation
- Hands-on experience across digital and traditional marketing platforms
- Experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences
- The ability to adapt your messaging and approach for different audiences, channels and priorities
- Strong copywriting, communication and organisational skills
- A good understanding of brand management, tone of voice and message hierarchy
- Confidence managing multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines
- The ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership
- Confidence delegating work and providing guidance to others
- A practical, adaptable approach and willingness to get involved
- Confidence using data, insight and performance information to shape campaigns
