As a Care Assistant / Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, providing compassionate, person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities for Carer / Support Worker:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Facilitate social activities and outings.
- Administer medication.
- Raising concerns and calling District Nurses / 111 when necessary.
- To provide light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, washing dishes and changing bed linen when necessary.
- Promoting independence.
Duties may vary from time to time in line with the need of the service and as agreed with Pathways of Hope.
