Pathway is proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and expanding law firm as they seek to appoint a Conveyancing & Probate Solicitor to join their growing team in Derry/Londonderry or Omagh. With a strong client base, modern working practices, and a dynamic leadership team, our client offers an excellent opportunity for solicitors at all levels to take the next step in their career. Whether you are newly qualified or have several years' PQE, this is a chance to join a supportive and ambitious firm committed to delivering high-quality legal services across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Residential & Commercial Conveyancing
    • Manage a caseload of property transactions from instruction to completion.
    • Handle sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and land registrations.
    • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
    • Ensure all legal and compliance checks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Probate & Private Client
    • Administer estates from obtaining Grant of Probate to final distribution.
    • Advise clients on wills, powers of attorney, and inheritance planning.
    • Prepare and review wills and trusts in line with clients' instructions.
    • Work closely with families, executors and beneficiaries in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Client Care & Communication
    • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and a personable approach.
    • Maintain the firm's reputation for excellent service standards and attention to detail.
    • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the collaborative culture of the firm.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland.
  • Experience in conveyancing and/or probate (all levels of PQE will be considered).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to legal practice.
