Our client, a prestigious small law firm in Belfast city centre, is seeking a friendly and organised Conveyancing Secretary to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some legal experience looking to develop a career in conveyancing, or for someone already experienced in conveyancing seeking a flexible working arrangement. The role is ideally three days per week, with four days also being considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to the conveyancing team.
- Drafting letters, emails, and legal documents accurately and efficiently.
- Managing client files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Liaising with clients, other solicitors, and third parties in a professional manner.
- Supporting the team with general office duties as required.
- Learning and developing conveyancing procedures and best practices under the guidance of experienced team members.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous legal or secretarial experience preferred; candidates with some legal experience who are keen to train in conveyancing will also be considered.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Friendly, professional, and client-focused approach.
