Excellent role with an established and highly regarded legal services firm who are seeking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to join their Motor & Fraud team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop their career within a successful and supportive team, working on a varied caseload of interesting and complex insurance matters. The successful candidate will join a strong team handling a broad range of motor, fraud and insurance-related claims, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of motor and fraud-related claims
- Conducting investigations, reviewing evidence and liaising with witnesses and experts
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and settlement documentation
- Providing strategic legal advice to clients
- Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings where required
- Ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory and client requirements
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law and industry developments
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1-6 years PQE
- Experience within motor, fraud, insurance litigation or defendant litigation
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong client care skills with the ability to deliver high-quality legal advice
- Experience dealing with complex or high-value claims would be advantageous.
