Our client is a professional body providing employment law and HR support, training, and advice to businesses across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. They are now seeking a Solicitor or Barrister to join their highly respected team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-quality employment law matters. The role offers the chance to provide expert advice, advocacy, and training while being supported by a long established, people focused organisation. This role would ideally suit a lawyer with 2–5 years PQE and a passion for employment law. However, candidates with less experience who can demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to specialising in this field will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising member businesses on a wide range of employment law matters.
  • Providing clear, practical guidance and representation on HR and workplace issues.
  • Carrying out your own advocacy with training and support provided.
  • Delivering training sessions and workshops to members.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a collaborative and professional service.
  • Contributing to the development of resources, updates, and guidance materials for members.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
  • 2–5 years’ PQE in employment law preferred (other experience considered if passion for the area is demonstrated).
  • Strong advocacy skills, with the ability and confidence to represent clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice.
  • Strong interest in training, learning and development.
