Pathway Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in the appointment of a Conveyancing Legal Secretary / PA for their busy South Belfast office. This successful firm has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality legal services and offers a supportive and collaborative working environment. This role will support a busy Conveyancing Solicitor and would suit an experienced legal secretary who enjoys working in a fast-paced property environment and can confidently manage a varied workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial support to a busy Conveyancing Solicitor.
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports.
  • Opening and closing client files.
  • Assisting with all stages of residential property transactions.
  • Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally.
  • Preparing completion documentation and related paperwork.
  • Maintaining accurate file records and case management systems.

Administrative & PA Duties

  • Managing the Solicitor's diary and scheduling meetings.
  • Organising files and ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Assisting with billing and general office administration.
  • Monitoring deadlines and prioritising workloads effectively.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Conveyancing or Residential Property.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong audio and copy typing abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
